Bianca Cefalo is a rocket scientist who is passionate about empowering women and minorities to pursue STEM careers.

Despite coming from a humble background in Italy without many role models, Bianca became a rocket scientist and now works to inspire young girls, especially those from immigrant families, to pursue their dreams.

Bianca shares how she started volunteering to give workshops and talks at schools, sharing her story and encouraging the girls to see themselves as capable of achieving their goals, no matter their background. Bianca’s mother was a major role model for her, demonstrating resilience and defying social expectations.

Bianca encourages mothers to support their daughters’ ambitions. She provides advice for teenage girls to pursue what brings them joy and fulfilment, even if it seems out of reach.
